Karen
Killebrew
Karen Killebrew is the owner of Nature Media Network, a news
and public relations service specialing in conservation and
wildlife issues. She spent 30 years in the retail travel industry
and is an advocate of ecotourism and outdoor recreation. She
is experienced in tourism marketing, database management, customer
outreach and is a frequent seminar speaker. She has organized
educational seminars and forums for a variety of tourism organizations.
She is Outreach Coordinator for the California
Watchable Wildlife Project, with responsibility for website
design & maintenance, educational forums for California Wildlife
Festival Coordinators, and publicity for Watchable Wildlife’s
viewing sites in California.
Karen serves as Secretary of The International Ecotourism Society
(TIES), and is a former
Director of Partners in Responsible Tourism (PIRT)
in the San Francisco Bay Area.
